We collect information needed to operate Missed Call Connect for Win Local, Inc. and participating local businesses. This may include:

  • Caller phone numbers and call metadata, such as call time, call duration, forwarding number, and call identifier.
  • SMS opt-in records, including consent timestamp, YES confirmation message, associated business or account, message history, and consent source.
  • Text message content, replies, delivery status, HELP requests, and STOP requests.
  • Voicemail recordings, voicemail transcripts, and lead details when a caller leaves information for a business.
  • Business account information, including business name, contact information, phone numbers, message preferences, and service settings.
  • Technical information used to maintain the service, prevent misuse, troubleshoot delivery or call-routing issues, and support platform security.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Identify the participating business or account associated with a missed call or inquiry.
  • Send caller-authorized text messages related to the caller's recent inquiry.
  • Send one-time consent request texts after a missed-call verbal disclosure.
  • Continue a text conversation only after the caller replies YES.
  • Provide lead details, caller replies, voicemail information, and follow-up notifications to the business the caller contacted.
  • Maintain consent records, process opt-out and help requests, and comply with messaging requirements.
  • Operate, secure, monitor, improve, and support the Missed Call Connect service.

SMS Consent and Messaging Data

Missed Call Connect uses a missed-call verbal disclosure and text confirmation process. When a caller reaches voicemail or a missed-call flow, the caller may hear that Missed Call Connect may send a one-time text asking whether the caller would like to continue the inquiry by text. After the missed call, Missed Call Connect may send one consent request text to the caller's mobile number. The caller must reply YES before any further text conversation occurs. If the caller does not reply YES, no further text conversation is sent for that missed-call inquiry.

Message frequency varies based on the caller's interaction with Win Local, Inc. or the participating business. Message and data rates may apply. Callers can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, disclosed, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent is not transferable and is not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

How We Share Information

We share caller information with the participating business the caller contacted so that the business can respond to the caller's inquiry. We may also share information with service providers that help us operate calling, messaging, hosting, analytics, support, security, and related business functions. These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to us.

The above sharing excludes mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and text messaging originator opt-in consent for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, disclose, or share mobile information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, to prevent fraud or abuse, to enforce our agreements, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and this Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business and consent records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. We may delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
